There is no way I can simply post only pictures of this pet.  This one will

never be able to be replaced.

B was one of the most gentle cats ever.  If he found a frog inside the house he would cup his paws over the frog and meow until you came and got the frog.  When he got older he once tried to save a bolt he found on the carpet.  Maybe feline Alzheimer's was beginning to set in.  I raised abandoned baby birds and squirrels and he would watch over them, sit in front of their cage and guard them - and would never try to hurt them.  When we were both younger (LOL) B went to Daytona with me for Spring Break - even had his own sunglasses.  B loved to ride in the car, right on your lap, had to look out the window.  He volunteered to be pet and adored by all kinds of children for The College of Veterinary Medicine Open House and for the Girl Scouts.

He would go to Kanapaha Botanical Plant Gardens and follow along on the sidewalk.  People thought he was a small, furry dog.  He was not on a leash.  He LOVED potato chips!  If a bag of chips was on the kitchen counter, he'd take off with them.  B was a total ham in front of the camera.  He'd pose for as long as you'd like - not to mention he was quite photogenic.  This cat really liked baths!  He'd sit still and let you bubble him up.  Every morning when I'd blow dry my hair he stood next to me and wouldn't leave until I dried him for a minute.  If I was in a hurry or forgot, he'd nudge my leg to let me know he was there.  If he was sleeping and heard the blow dryer go on, he'd wake up and come running into room.

After 17 years, B succumbed to end stage renal disease.

Without a doubt, he had a very full seventeen years!
