One of my favorites at Sushi Matsuri is the Matsuri Eggroll. This roll has fish inside the nori, coated with a tempura batter, then fried and served with a sauce especially for this roll. I like to suggest this roll to friends of mine new to sushi when dining at this restaurant. It really shows them that there is nothing strange about nori! (Nori ~ dry, wafer thin sheets of seaweed - yes, the stuff that grows in the ocean - it looks a bit different by the time it winds up inside a sushi roll) From there, most people can allow themselves to become a bit more daring. Sushi will grow on you - keep experimenting. There is so much variety ~ your taste buds will never lack for excitement! If I were to ever win the lottery, I intend on having my own personal sushi chef!!
